Founders:

MARK A. PETERSON

Mr. Peterson grew up in the television business. His father was a director for NBC News from 1947 until his death in 1976. Mr. Ralph H. Peterson pioneered TV news shows with Camel News Caravan in the 1950s and directed David Brinkley in Washington, DC on the Huntley-Brinkley Report. It was the highest rated nightly news show through the 1960s and early 1970s. His father’s Washington, DC assignment brought the family to Falls Church, Virginia in 1957.

Mark has lived in Northern Virginia most of his life.  He attended Georgetown University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Cum Laude and then attended the University of Virginia where he earned a Master's Degree in Foreign Affairs focusing on energy economics and politics.  Mark spent 25 years in the energy business, and co-founded an energy consulting firm, Pace Global Energy Services headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia.  This work involved developing hundreds of energy projects (pipelines, power plants, etc.) and advising foreign governments in over 30 countries.  Developing energy assets worth between one half and one billion dollars taught him the management skills later put to use in the entertainment business.  In 2006, Mark left the energy business to pursue a lifelong desire to write and produce television shows and theatrical films.

Mark's seven years in the entertainment industry have resulted in numerous accomplishments across a range of projects including conceiving and executive producing AT THE TOP OF THE PYRAMID featuring Elle McLemore, Dean Cain and Steve Guttenberg.

JIMMY SANABRIA

Jimmy Sanabria is a first generation Latino- American who was raised in a large immigrant community in Bailey’s Crossroads, Virginia, which is located right outside of Washington D.C.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Social Science from Radford University with an endorsement in teaching.  Later he earned his graduate degree in Educational Administration from George Mason University.

In the world of entertainment, he was a cast member for the Disney Company at Epcot Center. He also has been an actor and event producer.  He has worked on the set of the HBO series VEEP, the Netflix web-series HOUSE OF CARDS and in the film AT THE TOP OF THE PYRAMID produced by Slamgate Productions. He also appeared in the Music Video SUPASTAR , for MTV artist/MoSLAM MUSIC  Reyn. He garnered a supporting role in the film SPLIT PERSONAILTY and starred in the principal role in TOP COPS, an industrial video produced and narrated by John Walsh.

With his interest for the film industry growing, Jimmy had the opportunity to produce the premier of the film AT THE TOP OF THE PYRAMID, his knowledge and experience at marketing special events would prove to be invaluable. His marketing campaign produced a capacity crowd at the red carpet and a sold out theatre for the film.  With the success of the premiere, he wanted to develop and showcase his talent and passion for producing.  Teaming with Richard Willis Jr. of Mozell Entertainment Group, the project BAILEY’S CROSSING was developed.  The project has received rave reviews from top producers in the film industry and the growth of this up and coming Latin-American producer/actor will be exciting to watch in the years to come.

In 2002, Jimmy became one of the youngest Directors of Student Activities and Athletics in Fairfax County Public Schools. He oversees the entire extra-curricular program, all aspects of fundraising and is the facilities use coordinator for the school.  He handles over half a million dollars annually for the school.  Jimmy has been responsible for the complete renovation of facilities at Centreville High School. He completed renovation of the gymnasium, and scoreboards with private and public money.  The outdoor facilities were renovated in 2003 and then again in 2012. All outdoor renovations were made possible by private fundraising which included the implementation and maintenance of Bermuda grass fields totaling more than a million dollars.

In 2014, Jimmy’s marketing skills captured the attention of ESPN. With over 16,000 high schools in the nation, less than 1% of all schools acquire a one game television contract. After pitching ESPN, Jimmy was able to secure the first nationally televised high school football game in the history of the Washington DC area.  The football game was a financial and rating success.

Over the past 10 years, Jimmy has been selected as the local director for lacrosse, softball, volleyball and gymnastics championships.  He has also been the regional tournament director for the Northern Virginia area volleyball and wrestling championship tournaments.  Through his creativity in sponsorships and marketing the volleyball tournament has been a financial success for the past 10 years.  The Northern Virginia Wrestling championship is the largest indoor tournament held in the state for the Virginia High School League. He produced the tournament for two years and has been asked to make it a financial success in 2014.   In 2013 he was named the state of Virginia’s gymnastics director.
